The all-new HobbyStar 160A 1/10 Competition ESC has the same buttery smooth operation HobbyStar competition ESC's are known for, with all-new internal components and a 160A rating for the most powerful 1/10 race setups. Also features a new adjustable BEC with either 6V or 7.4V output at 5A (versus 3A on previous versions). Sporting an eye-popping list of available adjustments and the same footprint of a standard 120A ESC, the HobbyStar 160A ESC sets a new standard for 1/10 competition-level speed controls.
Features selectable 3rd channel adjustment. Via program settings, you can assign a knob or switch on your radio to adjust 1 of 14 available settings on the fly.
ESC comes with power and motor leads already soldered on, and an updated triple capacitor bank.
NOTE: This ESC is NOT for drag race use with 6.5T and lower turn motors.

Race Mode and Stock Mode: Provide targeted base-profiles for both 4.5T-9.5T motors and 10.5T and above
Dead Band: By percentage

Throttle IP limiter: To control initial power hit based on track conditions
Throttle Rate: Controls overall throttle power for varying track conditions
Drive Frequency: To fine-tune the throttle feeling from smooth to aggressive
RPM Lock: Allows locking in a specific RPM for drifting applications

I-Brake Response: Controls the initial brake power response to the motor for varying track conditions
